A water bird with a broad blunt bill, short legs, webbed feet, and a waddling gait. Very social animals so best kept in groups. Determining sex can be tough visually however a mature bird can easily be distinguished by the volume of the quack (females are much louder than male ducks that take on a whisperish tone) or the presence of drake feathers.
